A letter from Ann
Within the earliest of my memories, those memories of childhood. In those shadows. I remember a restlessness, a yearning. Haunted by something I didn’t understand, pushed always. Knowing as a small child, the Wind knew my name. The mountains encircling the valley I was born in, called to me. Memories of a past life, still emerging, washing , washing clothes in a river. A firm sense of a protective spirit around me always. Thank you, you saved me many times, as well as laughed and cried with me as I wandered along the path of my life. This has persisted all of my life.
Being raised in an organized religion and realizing from an early age that I was asking all the “wrong questions” Sneaking to the library and checking out books on, out of body experiences, feeling guilty. The words “from the devil” creeping in so often. Becoming a Tarot reader as a teenager . This moved on to palmistry, psychometry, channeling and hands on healing (also ghost busting). Always searching, always dreaming, learning about as many traditions as I could possibly stuff into my head. Always thirsty, taking as many classes as I could. Reading as many books as I could. Searching.
Realizing as an adult that I came from a line of “readers, mystics ” in Europe. It all made sense. As I grew tremendous opportunites presented themselves. Being invited to Nepal, to study with a Tibetan Shaman. Studying with a Celtic Shaman. Sitting on top of Macchu Picchu the night of the eclipse of the moon and the harmonic convergence, with the Shaman of the mountain. Being blessed with the opportunity to attend a Sundance ceremony in eastern Montana. During this period I realized that I was no longer taking classes, I was teaching them.
For the past 5 years I’ve lead a drumming group in the Coeur d’Alene area and have relocated to the seattle area to be closer to family and a growing number of grandchildren. Please feel free to call for information or with questions.
